Incubating in my bra

I sent a message asking how this was going a few weeks ago... maybe it wasn’t the same person... I told my husband and was cracking up - we were imagining me doing that and someone bumping into me... ā€œyou smooshed my child!!!!ā€ šŸ˜–šŸ˜«šŸ˜¤šŸ¤£ I really think it’s hilarious bc I secretly want to do it having no kids of my own šŸ™ 3 step kids
Lol! It would be so awesome if it did work!

ok.. I've GOT to try this :lau

one question to those who are trying it, what do you do with the egg when you're in the shower?
(edit: I just realized her egg never hatched, I'm so sorry 😄)

I put mine on a heating pad on low (in a safe place since I have cats) sandwiched between two washcloths.

Y'all all bring up great points and whether or not we succeed we'll maybe learn something along the way, if nothing else about the kind of people we are.
if you know what i mean GIF

I for one definitely think that it is possible though there are some difficulties that will likely need to be overcome to ensure success, specifically the motion issue. I gave myself a good laugh yesterday thinking about ways to mitigate that...the first thing that came to mind was to slip the egg into a water wiggler with some gauze on either end to keep it from sliding out, then placing said device intra la dƩcolletage. But if you're worried about appearances that sure as heck isn't gonna help! :lau

If it doesn't work out though, I wouldn't feel bad. Eggs in incubators fail all the time, especially ones that come through the mail. Sometimes we can figure out why, sometimes we can't. And sometimes an egg isn't even fertile. But we can continue to have our fun, and I think that one day, one of us (maybe even me this time, though I ain't betting anything on it since I'm inexperienced and my first attempts at things don't have the greatest record of success hahahahaaaaaa... ;-;) will bring some little peep into the world with nothing but our ingenuity and a healthy dose of tiddy heat.

Dang it! I said I was going to keep my silly comments out of this from now on. You make it so hard to do because you are a laugh riot and open up so many avenues with your own hilarious comments!! I want to so bad!!!!:D Nope, nope, I said I was not going to anymore. 🤐

hello! this is day two of doing this and it worked out great yesterday but today I'm having some problems. At first, the egg stayed perfectly warm, and then when I checked on it, it was cold again, so I uhh.. rearranged it (sorry this is awkward loll) and I checked back on it 30 mins later and it was warmer but not warm enough:idunnoanybody got ideas on how to insulate it?

I made a tinfoil heat reflector for mine and put the egg against me then the reflector and then an ankle sock or other material to hold heat in.
