Final update. It didn't make it

I am so sorry You did an amazing job! I bet that was so hard, after you carried him around all that time, I can imagine you had a strong bond already.

I think he probably was ready to come out of his shell yesterday but maybe was a little stuck due to humidity or something. Did you say that the egg that you couldn’t see through had developed or did you ever open it to check? Again, my condolences. I hope you may be able to either try again or get some chicks in another way.

We do know it can be done though and sometimes mother nature has other things planned instead.

I'm so sorry your babies didn't make it. I can't even imagine incubating eggs for that long and then have them develop all the way, and they ultimately don't hatch Loved the experiment though.
