Incubating in my bra

Hi guys!
So because of lockdown here I don’t have anything else to do than...incubating an egg in my bra
I tried this spring, but all the eggs I tried with were infertile. Now, I know it is fertilized!
It’s a quail egg, I got my first blue one so I wanted to incubate it just for fun. I do have an incubator, but it’s just an experiment I want to do during lockdown/quarantine.
The egg is there for now almost 48h.Should hatch on January 24th-25th.
Will keep you guys updated! I candle it to see if he’s alive Sunday! Yay!!

I can’t wait!!! Do you leave it in at night? How do you keep from breaking it? Also, can you do more than one? The little bitty might need a friend. Asking in case I want to try!!

Gosh gosh gosh...I decided to smell it...the SMELL that came out of that!!!!! I am NOT putting that in my bra again! And I will open it...And maybe try with another egg, that I will be able to see through!

I read in a other thread where someone did this, they had their boyfriend keep it warm when they showered. I’ll just get my sister to do it.
And I guess just don’t roll over in your sleep?

I was worried about the sleep thing as well. But when you think about it, the hen has to get up every day for a short time so it would be OK probably when she was in the shower.

I don't think eggs get to the point of explosion that fast. And usually, there are some signs when they're getting there (like a kind of gross sweat from all that bacterial action). If you're seriously worried and you have a decent sense of smell curse you sinuses then you can give it a whiff. If you don't smell anything, you should be in the clear. Even a hint of sulfur means you might be in danger of an eggplosion.

That would be more than bad. boobeggplosion in the first degree.

Yes I leave it at night, I can do two maximum, but I prefer one at the time. I will shove another one in there, and I have 6 quails eggs in the bator, so if this one would work, he would have friends I don’t know how it does not break, it just does not haha

No boob boom, though, so that's good! Sorry that the egg didn't work out.
