Incubating in my bra

Day 19.5 and I can hear little scratching noises from inside the quail egg but no internal pip. Normally I wouldn't be so overbearing about a hatch but this one is personal! Any idea how long I should wait? My incubator babies hatched day 17 and 18, but because of lower temperature I was thinking day 21 I check? Opinions on float test (assuming no external pip)? I hope everything is alright! :fl
Float test...🤬🤬🤬🤬🚫🚫🚫🚫

I'm pretty sure you won't hear any noises until you have at least an internal pip.

I am not caught up in this thread... Where has this particular egg been incubating at?

Always candle.

I’ve never candled eggs beyond lockdown so I’m not really sure what I’m looking for. Add to that the fact that it’s a celedon egg and I’m not sure I would see an internal pip even if it was there!

Sorry for the photo quality. The ring of lighter area around the air cell wasn’t there yesterday. (This is 20 days from start of incubation and it’s a coturnix quail egg)

if this is a lost cause (😭😭😭😭) when do you all think I should give up and move on to the next bra egg?

I'm not sure this is a lost cause just yet.
Can you keep a close eye along at the air cell line to see if there's any movement?
It is definitely not hatch time. This egg has not drawn down at all. It may be a quitter... But keep an eye out for movement.

An internal pip... You will see clear movement in the air cell itself. hold and I'll find you a video of what an internal pipped quail egg looks like.
