I have never incubated MGB eggs before, but I thought I'd give it a shot. I just started collecting eggs and will be putting them in asap. I keep reading horror stories of very low fertility and/or low survival rate:( Are they more tricky to hatch? Also, does this sound right... about 40% humidity then raise it to about 60% on day 17? And they tend to hatch a couple days earlier than standard chickens?
Any advice, experiences or info is greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

I breed modern game bantams and I get a hatch rate of about 85%. I have had slightly lower hatch rates with my moderns than with my other bantams, but nothing significant. They ussually hatch on day 20. For the humidity, you should follow the instructions for your incubator. Moderns don't need more or less humidity than other breeds. Good luck with your hatch!
