No kidding, Cattitude- this is more exciting, and way more tense, than my own broody hatching out my little ones!!! There just HAS to be a blue roo in there!

Well the little Delaware cross is making it known immediately that it is capable of "Dellie Mind Control".

Little one is still in the bator with the little orp. They are both drying and getting their land legs.

The little orp is still a mess so I am thinking it is time for a warm sponge bath to get some of the blood and stuff off of it. It is either very dark blue or a black. It is standing but still very wobbly.

I quickly candled the remaining 5 eggs and the other Dellie cross has a baby but not much movement, 2 of the remaining orps have babies and not much movement and the other two orps are filled with moving babies. So I have hope for 2 more orps.

They have plenty of air cell room so I am giving them some more time and panicked just yet.

What'cha wanna bet, in true frustrating Orp fashion, they wait till the last possible moment to make a grand entrance? Cannon Ball, eat your heart out!

They'll do just fine Cetawin. So many are cheering and praying for a little blue roo, it simply MUST be SO!

Keep hanging in there. It will all be done and over with all too soon! Just like Christmas, the excitement is only here for a short time.

True to Dellie mouthiness....the Dellie cross is wandering around pecking at the other eggs.

Hopefully she will be the cheerleader and tap them into coming out to play.

Nothing new...babies have rolled the other eggs around...they are about ready to go into brooder.
