Incubating quail eggs

This is a bobwhite egg. 20210509_214614.jpg

The person I bought the eggs off of raises them breeds them and sells them and he told me they were bob whites and I was like ok but now that they have feathered I am suspicious if he was telling me the truth. I highly doubt he knew what he was giving me when he sold me the eggs because I asked him for more because the hatch ability rate was so low and he told me that he didn’t know what breed he gave me

I’m sure someone here will know.

I sell bobwhite eggs and have none that lay an egg like that! Its cool though.I would raise them as bobwhites.

I had 3 of those color eggs and the baby that did hatch out was a yellow one that didn’t survive a day which was sad

I was thinking about getting more quail eggs this coming spring because I like raising quail they are easier in my opinion to get to hatch than pheasants
