the guy who said 99.5 is right but he is wrong on that being the temp for all birds.

depending on the breed of ringneck the incubation will take between 23 and 26 days. The temp should be between 37.6 and 37.7 celsius

Hi, I've been hatch quite a few eggs now I have a Brinsea manual think it the ova hold 24 eggs. I have way more eggs in there I have chicken eggs guinea eggs and hopefully fertile turkey eggs and just put 1 hopefully fertile Quayle egg in..

I have hatched eggs in this with out a problem I even have some eggs sitting on one another and the hatch goes great as they hatch I take out the shell let them dry off completely until I make my card box box brooder and set everything up for them the brooder is lined with a layer if shavings then on top of that paper , then ontop of that paper towels because. I usally do hatching in May so it still wiill get cold here all this in may and the are kept in a cage in the coop with a regular light bulb that I start out with 100 watt the decrease as they get bigger, it works fine I get nervious with heat bulb about either over heating or the barn catching on fire. It works fine, may be if it a really cold night I may put 2 100watt s out for the.
After they are taken out of the incubator and put in a warm safe brooder you can rearrange your eggs again. If you hear peeps you can stop turning the eggs an wait form those to hatch it won't hurt the eggs for a shirt then.,then the can continue even if it the machine turns them befor you catch it they will be fin.. Just keep recommend them up and umidity so the can hatch mor easy.

You have to think the mama bird might not turn the so often so it's not.

If you are incubating eggs you have to look at your owners manual for that particular species. I know its usually 99.5 but the sportsman that I have recommends 100.0 degrees and it hatches them great. The manual helps!!

Also setting eggs this week and don't want to make any mistakes. My manual says 23 days for pheasants, 99.5 degrees. When should they be removed from the turner to set for hatching? On the 20th day?

Hi everyone I have 11 ringneck eggs in the incubator an was wondering what will happen when I stop turning the eggs on the 21st day and they hatch on day 25. Thank you

I have had better luck leaving the turner on thru the duration of hatching.It's kinda late for hatching ringnecks.Where are you located?Is this their laying season where you are at?
