Yes. Thanks for the link. I opened one air cell and the chick was pipped internally but there was still blood vessels so I put it back in the incubator. I'll check on it in the morning. Just has another hatch which is why I'm still up...very sleepy though.

I had 2 more hatch during the night. None of the eggs that were left had pipped so I opened the air cell ends of each. Only 2 were still alive. I put them back in the incubator, not sure if they'll make it. One on the chicks that hatched yesterday has a bummer leg so I've got him in a sling like getup. He's able to walk now at least. Hopefully the leg heals ok.

He'll most likely be fine. With the 2 still alive did you see if there were any blood vessels in the inner membrane?

Yes there are. One had died by the time I got home from work. I opened it up and saw that it was malpositioned, it was backwards inside the egg The one they had pipped internally is still alive but there are still visible blood vessels so I'm leaving it in the incubator. I'll just keep an eye on it.

I would do the same. That sucks about the malpostioned one, but I would've left it too.

Update: Sorry this is late...my hatch lasted 3 days and I had 10 beautiful chicks hatch. All are doing well
