After the first week, I cool the eggs for five minutes. I mist them before I put them back in the incubator. The second week, they get 10 minutes cooling, and the third week you can got to 15 minutes if you have the nerve. I forgot and left mine out for over an hour two days ago. Today I have one bumping the air cell, so it looks like they survived. I take mine out of the incubator.
