have my hovabator staying steady at 99.1 and it keeps this temp. hear they suppose to be at 99.5 and wanted to know with it at 99.1 would you leave it at this or try to raise it to 99.5. i hate to change and then gets too high. i am new at this and yet to hatch anything and wanting to do what i can since i just put in (9) silkie eggs. thanks for any help provided.

as with any bator I would think you would want to run it for at least a day and monitor the temp. I would rather be too low and have an extended hatch time than have the temp. rise on me unexpectedly and have damaged eggs, no hatch...
