incubating turkey eggs and chicken eggs

ok great, i will try dropping the temp a degree during my hatches. this is my first time hatching and i have chickens due sunday.

i have read most people say 50% or more is too high for chickens, but apparently ok for poults? so im not sure what a good medium is when i have both in the bator..

steve when you incubate them all together what % of humidity are you at from days 1-18? then hatch?

To be honest I don't know. I use GQF Sportsmans and when we start them up in Jan they run steady until June when we shut them down. It has the auto water bucket and the water tray has about 2 inches of water in it. When a flat of eggs stop turning I add a humidty sponge and mist with a spray bottle when I open the door to take chicks or poults out. Right now we are doing weekly hatches so the humidity is all over the place i'm sure. I just let it roll and they hatch great. I don't candle until they stop turning but do a "sniff test" during incubation, you can smell an egg going bad long before it pops.
