Hi! I got pretty bored these few days and decided to attempt to incubate a egg using body heat. I saw this man on YouTube make a wearable incubator and hatch a duck egg!! Here is the link:
It was very hard to believe at first. After I saw the video, I made a similar wearable incubator and decided to try it with a quail egg. Today is day 3 of incubation and I think I see tiny veins. It’s really hard to see but I definitely saw something! I’m worried about sweating on the egg. (I did go on a hike today and sweat). I just wanted to post this thread for anyone wanting to try this or is curious about this topic!!:D Anything is welcome!

Yes! I watched that video five minutes after he posted! I wanted to try to do it too, but I don't have room for any more chickens right now, and I would be worried if it did hatch and then got lonely. Is your body incubator similar to his? Pictures?

here is a picture of the wearable incubator. Yes, the quail egg is pretty scratched up ;( I used duct tape, wool, string, and a cardboard paper towel roll. Also I surrounded the whole thing with an emergency heat blanket (including the insides).
