Guys, why have some of my 100% developed chicks not hatched??? Day 24..... ??

They were too weak or they drowned if they happened to have too much humidity in their shell (it varies spot to spot in the incubator).

Could be a multitude of things. Poor parent stock, poor incubation temp, poor incubation humidity, they just weren't strong enough in the first place, poor incubation ventilation.......

The four light ones happen to all be about three times the size of the two dark ones. They aren't sex links. I think maybe the two dark ones were the ones I had to pull out.

How could anyone not love that baby's face? She's just plain adorable. Cuter than a speckled pup
