I just checked, and the EHAL boys put themselves to roost all by themselves in the new frat house!!!! :ya

(It's the little things... I have a group of adults who refuse to roost because I didn't teach them to when they were little, makes me crazy, never letting that happen again)

You have to teach them to roost?

Thanks! You have a great evening as well!!!
Quote: It's an elevated platform with roosts on it. When I first moved them outside and they were still quite little, I had to teach them to go up to it before it got too dark to see - they hadn't really experienced anything like that in the brooder. I was worried that the boys were disoriented by the move and forgot, but they were good.

Here's the platform with roosts in a different one with the same design:

I couldn't see any veins in the shell from what I can see. It's day 19. The other egg hadn't externally pipped but they both internally pipped last night. I hope it's ok.

its a bit early, probably still absorbing yolk sac.
if it is not bleeding, dont mess with it, let it be and watch it for signs of bleeding.
if it starts to bleed, you could try dabbing a bit of corn starch on it and place it in a small cup until it fully absorbs..
