I thought some of my girls were done laying for the season since it was winter. I went to snuggle one of them and realized she and her buddies were molting. Just a few new shafts around the head and neck. Didn't notice till I was up close. Silly girls, I thought they didn't do that until they were in their second year.

I have two under one year olds doing the same... I was surprised as well.
