Speaking of my Marans I hatched out last week. I think we have a couple that will have names that stick. We have a "Chunky Monkey" and a "Chubby Checkers" because we have TWO that seem more roly-poly than the others. I am out working on cleaning their brooder, will try to take pics if they'll get out from under the heating pad!

Thanks for clarifying. Working my dogs with livestock brings me great pleasure. I haven't put herding titles on them yet, I might start on that in 2016.

My wife and daughters do all the showing and certifications. She said that they also HIC certify through AKC, which I did not know and is one of the only AKC titles they do. So they have a couple herding certs. Good luck in 2016.
