I carried the last of the January pullets to their new house this morning.

I usually don't bring live chickens to class (have done so a few times), but I'm bringing my chicks that hatched this week to class this morning. I have to get them boxed up.

It is another dreary day. Maybe the landscaper won't come after all. I hope he does! I also hope he doesn't bring his "helper" that mowed down my rhubarb! Thankfully, it came back quickly, and I have already harvested some.
Regardless, as long as it is warm out, Duckling can play outside. I HATE worms, but if she does pick one up, I will deal with it. My fears should never be her's.

really worms?? i have worms the size of snakes at my house but i saw my chickens eat one so maybe i dont anymore

Ok,now I'm starting to worry.My muscovy hens eggs are on day 32 but there has been baby's in the air cell for five days now

how would you know this? if they are under a broody!
