We work through hurricanes here, up to cat 3
Except for 2004 we had 4 hurricanes and 3 of them all intersected in my home town
Peoples were "driving" boats down the street
Not little ones either
It was terrible and we were super busy
I've had one Welsummer hen. Her eggs were gorgeous. I lost her to heat in the summer of 2012. She's the only bird I've ever lost due to temperature - hot or cold.Hi all. New here and saw the Wellsummer question. I have one Wellsummer pullet. She is the friendliest of my little hatchlings and seams to take to mothering the small ones. They all tuck under her at night. The Keets mostly! Can't wait til she is ready to lay those beautiful eggs.
Funny how people appreciate keeping food cold isn't it?My clients love me today
I always get nice tips when working in nasty weather
Good thing you're a young man.Gotta remove the old one too
Some go out windows.![]()
Not a joke
gotta pinch the stinger off firstI hear they are good for eating.
Nice chart. It's data like this that allowed me to create this chart. This chart show that at four weeks the three chicks are all within the normal weight range. Note that there are three line here that are below the one group. The blue one that ends at day 25 died from a yolk sack infection, the black one had a deformed neck and was euthanized, and the longer blue one was just behind a little, but did finally catch up.

I've never skied CA or anywhere on the west coast. I have heard that Kirkwood is fantastic. An army buddy of mine was from Sparks Nevada and skied Tahoe and Mammoth all the time.Ever been to Kirkwood in CA? It's nothing compared to the other places you listed, but it's my favorite place in CA.

I have issues with getting enough loss in them as well, I think I need to try them separated, but I just got rid of most of those layers and kept the next gen since they started laying now.
The two that hatched one has the grey barring look to it and the other looks like a CCL pullet.I have issues with getting enough loss in them as well, I think I need to try them separated, but I just got rid of most of those layers and kept the next gen since they started laying now.
