Cats taste delicious!

Good morning, Mr. Pipe
Currently no other fowl being incubating (although I would like to get a hold of some hamster eggs). There's OE, CCL, Sapphire, Brahma and CBR currently cooking in the bator. Are you currently incubating anything?

Cool! You sound busy!
I am incubating a human. He is due to hatch in three months.

Congratulations then. Does this human know when it's supposed to hatch? I just sound busy, I'm not really. Incubating chickens eggs is wicked easy. Put them in the incubator and go on about life.

What day are you on for incubating? Broody hens are still going.
Day not very many. I think it's either 3 or 4 I set them Sunday night.

Never set chicks under a broody before, so I have a question:

After chicks hatch & mama lets them go exploring, do they have sense enough to get back into the chicken yard through the 2x4 welded wire fence when mama calls them?

Sometimes but it drives momma nuts. I've changed to chicken wire with the broodies and they still can find their way out.
