Well the same could said about us. All the time spent on the computer and byc forum. It all about balance. Spend the at least the same amount of time outside in the sunshine either your critters. Devices are good ways to occupy kids while your waiting. Technology is a scary,addictive thing. Esp when you are not interacting with humans.

Did you offer to babysit the kids,or take them out to play in the sunshine at your house? Real easy to point stuff out we dont agree with, when we expect someone else to do the work. Or look at them and assume they are on the same budget as you are."whats that parents problem?,,well whats yours??"
I homeschool&maybe 2hours a week have an assistant or "break" honestly if it werent for distractions at least once a day,the chickens,dogs&garden not sure i can legally mention the frame of mind i would be in. Everyone takes too much for granted. Have you ever tried to go to a docters appointment or have x rays done while responsible for 3plus kids under 8, after you have completed that get back to me. (Dont spank in public you can go to jail,espically if you are an adoptive parent,dont take electronics away or we will all be real sorry) i do agree with self control&moderation. You try taking a cross country trip &you will thank me for suggesting portable dvd players. Not fussing at anyone in particular just a valid point im trying to make defending the family your talking about thats not here to speak up for themselves.

Hey all, I just received the best ever excuse to hatch some eggs: I was given the incubators about 2 weeks ago and this afternoon answered a knock on my door to a doz assorted gamefowl eggs. Well, one of the incubator's fired up and warming up, since it looks like I have no choice here? *sigh*

It's obvious you had no choice but to incubate them.
