you got that right, after having loss for 2 weeks I said screw that I am spending the cash.... and came home with what I wanted

we don't lose power that much after the bad ice storm of 92 they cleared all the right of ways and redid the whole grid . when the transformer blew on our pole they had it fixed in a hour . still I have a backup and a backup for that .

I rented a Honda last weekend it was the best one I've used quite and smooth running . I would buy one but I don't want a metal fuel tank anymore .push start

Run 2 big permanent diesel gens to power house and buildings. Automatically kick on after 3 min of no power. (They aren't quiet) LOL

trees were closing roads down all over the place, lines were down.. we are in the mountain so our road was closed a week alone, just for the trees, and then it took longer for the electric and poles to get fixed

About 7 or 8 years ago we had a massive ice storm come through. I think the generators ran for 9 days straight. The conditions were horrible, all we could do was water, feed and bed the livestock. So several of our friends and their kids stayed over and we had a massive party. Lots of food, visiting, etc. Kids lounged and watched satellite. Was a fun time until a big limb broke and knocked the satellite off the house. Then I was ready for the kids to go home..........

that was the year Ben was born 92 4 days I kinda chewed them out and so did a lot other people . so they got busy really did all of middle Tn. O H just walked in gotta go be back latter maybe .
