I set a box trap and a duke dog proof raccoon trap last night. Both were sprung with no animal contained.

I was remiss and didn't use my game cam. I will tonight.

The humidity you have to put up with is scary. We are a very dry heat most of the time. I have gable vent fan on house. Coop has the chimney that draws heat out.
Don't I know it. It wouldn't be so bad if it cooled off at night. It is 4:45 AM - 81F and 73% humidity. Not even a good breeze - 4mph wind.
The humidity is year round. It is rare for it to drop into the 30s RH. 60-90 is more common.
It's going up to 99 today but the humidity is supposed to drop back to 40s/50s.

It is all in how much airflow and your temperatures. We are all learning. This is my first full summer, as I started at the end of July last year.
Every new building gets bigger windows than the one before. My last 2 buildings basically have 1/3 of both the east and west wall open. The breeze blows right through at roost height - year round.
I think your issue is that you prepared for winter when summer is harder for chickens than cold.
