I am sorry that I did not get better pictures. But, I didn't realize that they were there until they were about to get up.

There is one chick on Banti's back and I think three were on Christopher.

You could frame out the wire with flat stock (about 1x1.5x 1/8) on the inside & secure it with bolts, nuts & washers through to the outside. That should work.

X2 Bolts may be better than sheet metal screws.
