OK, so I was looking at this thread, and my eggs donn't look like the eggs there on day 15. I think the chicks in my eggs were smaller than that. Are they growing too slowly? I will try to get good pics tonight, but I'm still trying to get my camera to take a good picture!

Sounds like the humidity is off.

Ok ib going to let it be for a few more hours then check back. My other hatch 8 out of 9 chicks hatched and everything went so smoothly. These were due the next day and nothing. We are on day 22 now with only 2 pips and only 4 eggs. This batch just went wrong somewhere...

How is it instant if you still have to wait?

Make sure it aint completely halved, that there is still skin connecting both sides together. Turn it off as soon as the flash happens.

Sounds like the humidity is off.

THX. I was afraid of that. I need to order a GOOD hygrometer NOW. D'ya think the humidity is too low?

Still air, and I believe the air cells are too small. Should I try to candle and take a picture, even though it's not night yet?

Also, what do y'all use for hygrometers? I need something that's fairly accurate (I will calibrate, don't worry) and not too expensive. Any ideas?
