80...he's bigger than Joey & Billy put togetherIf Joey has 41 fries in his happy meal and Billy has 39 fries in his happy meal. How many fries does Kevin have?
Thanks!! These are all silkies in this pen. Other than 4 other adults, the rest are 2 months to 5 months old.Normally I keep them separate during incubation. Then about a week after hatch, I return them to the flock. A broody hen is a formidable foe that will protect the chicks to the point that the flock accepts the chicks by the time they are weaned.
That said, the only experience I have with silkie broodies is in a flock of bantams. If there are LF in the flock with the silkie broodies your results may vary.
Absolutely!! Thank you! I'm going to let them out and see what happens. Is a little help better than no help?
Since my broodies were kept with the flock as well, I can't help there. Okay, there was an exception. I separated her until they hatched, then put her right back in. That was because of the whole "others laying in her nest' thing.
But the incubator babies have been going outside at 2-3 weeks. At that time, they have a way to get to the adults through a small hole in the fence. They are out free ranging and often sleeping with the adults within days.
Are you suggesting that Kevin is violent?80...he's bigger than Joey & Billy put together
I have seen your tractor. Hmmm... Okay. That will do. Though IDK what it has to do with motorcycles. How about if I own 4 tractors instead?

You can use a wet qtip to spot clean its face. Thanks!! These are all silkies in this pen. Other than 4 other adults, the rest are 2 months to 5 months old.

I have an EE and a Black Sex Link hen both brooding some eggs in the regular big girl pen. They are about a week into it. I"m thinking of moving them broody box and all into a separate area. Or at least lowering them from their high brooder box to a lower area, so there isn't such a drop.
For the baby that wasn't getting up. I couldn't stand it's crying, so I opened the bator and it was covered in yolk, so was cemented to the shelf liner, another egg and the side of the brooder. I spent way too much time getting him out - so I'm apologizing now to the rest of the unhatched eggs. We spent about 10 minutes under a stream of hot water, trying to get the goop off. I have no idea how to get the egg shell off the side of it's face. I cleaned him as much as possible and tossed him/her back into the hatching brooder. It's body is mostly clean, but it still has a small piece of egg shell stuck to the side of it's face. I'm hoping it will fall off.
Humidity is back up to 70%, so I'm hoping I didn't do too much damage. The Brinsea is nice, but it isn't easy to open it to quickly take out a chick.
I don't know either but I did stay at a Holiday Inn once.I have seen your tractor. Hmmm... Okay. That will do. Though IDK what it has to do with motorcycles.
