Sulfadimethoxine works on some species of cocci, not all. Corid or Amprolium kills them all. Amprolium is only a Thiamine blocker and is fairly harmless in the right doses.

Sulfa drugs are very hard in the kidneys and can cause more bleeding, not only in the intestines but the kidneys as well. I prefer not to use this drug unless something I am treating really needs this drug.

Yes, early this morning I asked if you had a local TSC or vet you could get to that had Amprolium or Corrid. I did that because I could contact them not you based on your age. I am glad to hear that you are going to get it.
