Hello everyone! I came to this thread because I just set 14 eggs in my new IncuView yesterday. I am going to have an assortment of chicks, and I hope you all wil help me along the way! This is my first time using an incubator, and I have only ever used broody hens.

Welcome to the thread, Roxy! You've come to the right place for any questions or comment you may have about incubation. Nice incubator you have there!!!

@Sally Sunshine CUTE puppies! I wouldn't be able to let go when the time comes. I'd want to keep everyone of them

I hope everyone is doing well. I have 10 duck eggs (WH, Pekin/Swedish/KC) on day 23 in the incubator. 6 eggs still have clear small ends. All are active and have good veining. One that is full actually looks like it has already dipped down and could hatch any day. What does it mean to still have some clear egg on day 23?

Wouldn't it be easier for you to put a note on your incubator with all that information? Then you wouldn't have to run to the computer to see what you have or when it's due...

Just a little tip: it's a good idea to have extra thermometers and an extra hygrometer to confirm temp and humidity. There are threads that show how to check the accuracy of each as well. Here's mine with a couple of liquid thermometers taped to the edges of the egg turner, and you can see the remote probe for the IncuTherm Plus hanging in between the heater and the turner motor. I also have an extra liquid thermometer that I normally set close to the middle which I haven't put in just yet.

Thanks for the tip, and I told you I would come here to this thread! Did you hang the probe through the hold in the top with the black plug? That's what I assumed it was for. And is this a current hatch of yours, or just an old pic?
