I don't eat squirrel any more. My chickens eat any raccoons I catch.

We only have Bald and Golden Eagles. Sea Eagles are occasional visitors nesting in Alaska.

Yes he has! He loves the doorbell! I ordered him a sandbox that should be here next week in time for his actual birthday.I need to run to the store and load up on toys for using in it yet. His Momma is in her last stages of fighting stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma.She is clear of it now thank God! She will be in the hospital the week of his birthday so his party was this past weekend. Her stem cells will be put in next week. So I hope to build more of a play area for him this summer.

My Dad does it for fun now too. I am just in my 1st year being an Apprentice Toolmaker, so actual learning how to mill, turn and grind things and not just watch. Dad said it's bout freaking time girl!

I've never eaten it, but I had a great grandparent that ate hawk. He used to tell us they called them Chicken Hawks (usually a Red-tailed or Coopers) because they taste like chicken, not just because the hawks went after the chickens... I just smiled and said 'sure old man'... Then again, he also said the best way to turkey hunt was with a kernel of corn at the end of a fishing line, strategically placed somewhere on the gravel drive.
