Dog is fine, she is a stubborn old terrier who thinks when Daddy goes outside she needs to check on him. She just went out to look around and fart. She will ask to go out when he is home and act like she is going pee just to see where he is then head right to him. Rotten girl. I do mean act too. She will squat and just look for him.

I had to train the small dogs to be happy my husband was home. They would run out to him, get pet, then the excitement was over. The dog he had when we met was happy to see him, but she also had the same problem as the small dogs. She liked me better!

That was funny when the last wife came around. She was there when the dog was adopted. The dog actually ran away from her though! I used to have a special touch with babies and animals. I guess I still do, but it is not as reliable.

LOL! Do your Peking get along with your chickensmoker? We tried some Khaki Campbells and they kept trying to drown my more timid birds. They were rehomed ASAP. I like duck, roasted and smoked but those were not grown enough. You do not mess with my Cochins.Evil darn ducks.

Yes, the Pekins and Muscovies get along with the chickens. I have never had anyone try to drown anyone. Though the drake does seem to come close when mating the duck in the water.
I think I am going to just can the duck that I have resting in the fridge. I saw a good casserole, and I think I will try it.
I can roast duck the next time I have too many.

I roast mine with apple in the cavity and bacon over the top. Hubby's buddy's Dad taught me this for wild duck and I use it on most birds I roast. Yeah we hunt too, not so much anymore.

This one runs to him and our son most the time but comes to me for things she needs. Food, water and her medicine. She has horrible allergies and they have gotten worse as she ages. She is going blind now on top of it.Our first dog was a Roth back years ago. He was my baby, he loved Jeff n Coty too but he stuck by me mostly. Couldnt go in the bathroom without him trying to join me. He got in once and jumped in the tub with me. Not good to have a 156 lb. Dog on ya in the tub. Best babysitter ever though.

What do you have this dog on for allergies? I just don't think Benadryl is cutting it anymore, and the new vet won't give me anything for the while season. They insist that Benadryl should be working.

OK what I do to roast wild birds or store bought .
Oven at 350.
Bird thawed/cleaned whichever
Get out roasting pan with lid
Quarter 2 apples, chop some onion,tiny bit of onion
Stuff cavity with apple
Place in roaster
Lay thick sliced bacon over bird top cover it completely
Add water, dash of red wine, pepper salt onion
Roast that bird
Then ohhhh myyyy taste bub delight!
