I own a lathe. No idea how to use it. My nephew learned in school though.

Ohhhh my you have toys! My Dad has a toy room but I have yet to play in it. Figure it won't be long until I need to ask to turn or mill something some weekend. Then have him over my shoulder saying "what the hell did you do that for?" Gotta love the old guy.

The house was built by my husband's great-uncle. They raised him (no kids of their own). Uncle was a welder. I still have quite a few things around. I know I have a drill press still. I can't remember what else. A lot was stolen by relatives after he passed. The garage was unlocked, so they just helped themselves.

OK I am confused, who is Benny? Y'all know nicknames or real names for each other and I have yet to learn those. Bit of an info overload I have going with work and school so I have moments now that it takes longer to sink in. Been getting training on a lathe the past few days and then taught to grind my own cutting tools. Really hope my brain doesn't get overwhelmed.

Benny is the crazy Israeli that now is in vacation and have the most hilarious spelling mistakes!

I have never canned anything, and I still get up several times a night when I have chickies hatching.... I've hatched hundreds of chicks. It doesn't get old!! I don't panic when one is slow to zip. I don't help struggling ones anymore. I think I have close to 200 babies and adults running around my yard right now....or settling in for the night. The rest of my family and my BF think I'm nuts. They don't understand chicken math.

I've lived on both coasts, I prefer the west coast to the east for climate. I still have family on the east coast, so I do go visit, but that's enough for me. I like being able to go to the beach in the morning, and heading to the local mountains to go night skiing in the winter. In the summer, it gets a bit warm, but I can have a garden year round. I'd take an earthquake over a tornado any day. The absolute worst thing about living here is politics. I'm woefully outnumbered.

But the one thing I learned is that there is some impressive scenery in every state.

Well, I think it's dark enough for me to go candle my eggs and move them to lock down!!
