I am jealous of the people sitting out in fields waiting for the fireworks to start. They got to see it without any obstructions. Of course, my first thought was that I wish I were on the motorcycle. :(

If your talking the fireworks show yes love them. From a distance.

Small Fireworks scare the p out of me. They are actually illegal here but people still do them. Our firefighter neighbor is the worst offender.

Love fireworks! Best ones I seen were at Old Orchard Beach, Maine years ago.The boom doesn't bother me, I shoot firearms often enough to be used to it. Yeah I know the sound isn't close but when you get to play with a 50 cal.you get use to it fast.

I meant seeing the sunset unobstructed.
Night!

:gig
Completely missed that.

That kind I do like.

I love fireworks from a distance. I went to a fireworks show out at Mono Lake, CA back in 1986???? After the first few booms, something went wrong and the whole mess blew up there on the ground, people were hurt, it was horrible.

I finally decide to go to a show a few years ago. Fortunately it was WAY too crowded and I went home. What happens, the fireworks tip over and shoot out into the crowd.

That means I will NEVER go to an organized firework show. I like to park a few streets over, avoid the crowds and watch the high flying ones.

Years ago, they would like them off closer to the east end of our valley, and you could park along the pass, and see the whole show down in the valley. But now they are in the middle of the valley and there are no views from the hills that I have found.

But, whatever anyone decides to do, I hope you all have a happy and safe 4th of July!!!

Sometimes maintenance mode makes me crazy.
I was pretty sure I remember at least two of them. Only known him for 6 months.

I'm going to bed, too! Auf Wiedersehen!

My little chick that I had to help yesterday. Gave it electrolytes and vitamins. Seemed to perk right back up. I put it back in with the babies. Well I found it again today laying on it's side, wings out, legs extended and other chicks walking and pooing on it. I took it out and it was OBVIOUSLY having a seizure. I got it to drink a little, and let it rest. I put it in my hatching bator - cranked the humidity and heat down a bit. I have the last hatch still in there, it was so gooey, I had to give it bath and it is just drying up now. It was running around as happy as could be. I checked it a few minutes ago, it was laying on it's side, seizing, then it pops up and starts walking around.

Does anyone else have chicks with seizures? If so, do they survive?

I'm sorry, but it doesn't sound promising
