are they all calibrated??In the beginning I had temp spikes and it freaked me out. At one point I thought for sure I'd cooked them. I was blowing in one hole trying to push air out the other. Afterwards I thought I may have introduced a lot of bacteria that way. I realized that my spikes were due to the thermometer/sensor sliding around during the auto turning, so I used scotch tape to secure it in 1 spot and haven't had any issues since. However, I do have to have additional thermometers and hygrometers because the one that came with it is junk.
duck stuffed with lamb?I bet duck would go great with lamb.

Sweet!!Hello, everyone. Just popping in to give a quick update on the new coop. I'm still not through with it, but every time I turn around there's something new to add. The storm that blew through yesterday slowed me down, and the morning rain today didn't help either. I'm taking a break from the coop to install soffit vents on the house. My new A/C unit isn't keeping pace with the high temps and humidity, so venting the attic should help... at least a little bit. Anywho... on with the show. Please excuse my slow southern drawl... I've lived in MS long enough that it finally soaked in.![]()

nope too warmI'm going out on a limb and say they're chicken flavored. Just a wild guess...
Oops... I was supposed to be outside working, wasn't I?
Awesome!! good for you, gotta just keep going, chickens are very fun!Absolutely! Despite my blisters, sunburn and bruises I was incredibly proud of myself. I'm 45 and had 2 strokes last year. The fact I have the strength to build anything is a blessing. The chickens are like walking xanax for my stress levels. Just like my children, I cannot imagine life without them![]()
Welcome!! easier to buy, craigslist roos if you cant dispatch them yourselfIs it easier to hatch then to buy day old chicks? Plus what to do if your city doesn't allow roosters
