Thanks again! Now...yet another question. (Yes, I realize it's getting old. Hahaha...)

If I can't tell for sure if an egg is good to go, is water candling okay? I don't know how controversial this is, but the YouTube videos make it seem pretty fun to watch...as long as I keep the water at the right temp.

That's what we're here for! Ask away.

In general, it is reserved for eggs that are suspect when past day 21, I think. Let me grab some info.

Ask all the questions you want. As for water candling, I am not familiar with that. What ever works for you. You may as well try it!

I tried that after day 21. According to it, all my eggs were viable, but I opened them a few days later, and

. So, I don't know if it works every time or not ...

Alright, so I found out peanut butter is high in niacin. So ...... I was wondering if it would be a good idea to make little "cookies" for the ducks with peanut butter, grower feed, honey, and a few other things that you put in cookies (flour, baking powder, salt, etc.) Is peanut butter actually high in niacin? Should I forget this idea and just get purina flock raiser?
lol, i would go with the brewers yeast

usually done after day 21 to check viability, otherwise just sniff test

Duckgirl77, you don't need additional niacin w/ purina flock raiser. It is made for ducks.
