I have a chick that pipped 630 am this morning. It has not made any progress. I can see it breathing, and the membrane is turning brown. It is struggling, but getting nowhere. Do I open it and moisten the edges? 2 others have hatched normally since that one pipped.

LOL, I know that. No, it is not zipping. It is the membrane I am not sure about..... I haven't seen brown before.

The link isn't about a brown membrane it is about a dry membrane its in the assisted guide I think
