Agreed.  Home schooling rocks.  All the home schooled kids that I know are incredibly well socialized.  They know how to interact appropriately with all age groups, and they are academically and socially well ahead of their same age public school peers.

never said there was anything wrong with home schooling....just allot of people criticize public school....I was defending public schools cuz my kids did well.....I think the biggest problem with public schools has to do with the parents myself.

this time I candled my green egg day 5

Wrong, I know lots of homeschoolers, they do fine and the kids have lots of friends!

I WAS KIDDING I WAS KIDDING!!!! seriously I WAS KIDDING PLEASE TELL HER I WAS KIDDING GEEEEZZZZUSSSSS KIDDING

Well I got home and cut the bottoms out of the egg carton (having removed the eggs first.) Their is a lighter spot on them but not always on the top of the egg, the largest part, which is why I moved them to the carton for a day or 2. and rotated the whole carton to try to gently shift the air bubble. No idea if it would work but it was the best idea I could come up with. I didn't know they made egg candlers, I use a flashlight in a dark room. After I get home tonight I can try and detect movement, or I can just keep doing my best. All of the eggs are full and dark and they are lighter than they were at the beginning so maybe not going to drown. Just worried about the air bubble not being where it is supposed to be. I WILL be buying a thermostat and building a better incubator before I try this again.

At this point I"m working on difficult territory where there is a lot of risk of failure, I realize this. I traded for the eggs before I had the incubator, and made sure I turned them twice a day while they were at room temp for 3 days I think. While I built the incubator. Will upload photos when I get home this evening, have bee club.

New coop is open for business

Skipped a bunch today just wanted to pop in and say thank you all so much for the prayers and we'll wishes please keep them coming especially tomorrow as that is when we will actually be taking Grandpa to the facility, but he hasn't actually been told that he is being placed there. God help us all get through tomorrow.

Missing you all hopefully be on more regularly again later this week. Happy hatching

Up date on my eggs day three on two of them and they both look healthy and have veins. Day eleven for the other two and also healthy and swimming around in there. On my last hatch I had large eggs and ran the incubator dry and the air cells were perfect this time I have to add water and run it at 40 percent humidity to keep the air cells were they need to be. I just can't get over how small these eggs are from my Banty.
