I should have a week long hatch going. 51 were set.

O.M.G. That is a crap load of eggs... If I tried to hatch that many my nerves would absolutely be shot! I wouldn't know what to do with myself... Just thinking about having the possiblity of hatching that many makes me smile from to eat and eat and wanna jump!

Lol, quail eggs so they are tiny and only filled the bator 2/3 of the way so I could set more Giant eggs this past Saturday.

Aw, 100 is NUTHIN'!

Thanks, I had a productive day - just got up from a several-hour nap, need to go out and wash waterers right now.
Same here - 100F today, ~40% humidity. That's about every day for about a month or so lately.

I know - I just humiliated myself by posting a triplicate post on another thread, and then couldn't edit them, and then posted a duplicate apology. Argh!!!!

Triplicates happen lately.

Funny how productive one can be after a 3 hour nap.

I should have a week long hatch going. 51 were set.

I've hatched over 30 chicks since the first of June. There are 33 eggs in there now with 2 hatch dates. Not the smartest thing but that's all I can do right now.

Hello Canoe! Our first quail hatch , most will hopefully go to the freezer. I didn't have good luck last 2 tries at hatching so this one was my trial run. No candling just keep humidity steady and wait. Did take half off the turner but they are hatching equallyle from the level bunch and the turning ones.Go figure.
