I have been thinking. Douglas Adams was wrong. The answer to life, the universe, and everything is not 42, it is chocolate.
hmmmm that could be

Love my Runners! They don't quite fly. Wing-assisted jumping, more like.

Mine are black and brown. With lots of snow.
LOL I will have to look up on youtube for that!

sweet, I am finding after my second batch of ducks in six years, I am liking them more than chickens, although I do love my goose, she is way too protective of me. the ducks come when called, dont fly anywhere, eat from my hand and try to eat anything on me or near me, as does the goose. They are ancona. Eventually I would love to have a simple egg laying flock, just enough for the family, and ducks and pheasants. I truly love the beauty of pheasants, and the antics of ducks.

Are they bigger than the ancona or about the same?

I have three boys and I think I will have to find them a home, I dont think I could process them at this point. I raised them over winter beside me and spoiled rotten. Oh do runners lay year round?
