Perhaps they had bitterness in their heart from the start.

I've met some....I'm not one. I LOVE to travel.....it's fun to see and experience new things, but it always makes me appreciate my home even more!!!!



Hi everyone!! Monday night I got about 35 of my little chicks moved over to gotro17's neighbor's yard. They are in a nice tractor type chicken box that my wonderful guy made for me. Good thing, because when I stopped in to fill their water and food this morning, I found a hawk sitting on the box, staring intently at all the babies cowering in the back. I kind of felt bad at how frustrating that must have been for him....NOT!!!!

Hard to tell from this angle...sun was wrong...but that mess on the top
is actually the front wall, with provisions for a people door on one end
and a 6' door to get the mower through on the other.
Anyone wanna help me set it?

Slow but sure...mostly slow. Tackling something like this all by your lonesome is a beach.
I need someone to keep me motivated.

The malpositioned chick in the egg finally hatched but the chick looks weak and might have some walking problem

@Sally Sunshine brought me out of hiding. All is well just been busy. Lets see. Nothing in the bator and nothing planned for the moment. Had a rough go with heat index in the 110-115 range. It was rough on the chicks but anything over a few months seemed to fair better. All seems well with the twins other than the nursery isnt done. Itll happen maybe. Been wanting to come back and chat but work is busy and home is busier so a quick update and hopes of a slower pace in the future. Hope all is well with yall.

Bring 'em along; truck has a back seat & plenty of room in the bed. Or put 'em in roller skates & we'll tie 'em to the bumper
