That should be fun. You're lucky you have a longer growing season than some of us. lolThanks Mike. There's certainly room for improvement. Maybe I can practice on some fall crops now that I have more time.
Your math works out IMO.I figured that out after I re-read the instructions, but I bet many people will use 2 tablespoons of the powder instead. What I'd like to know is what is the shelf-life of the stock solution?
Since the pack weighs 453.5 grams and makes 129 gallons (if you read it literally), the per gallon dose is 3.52 grams per gallon. The powder probably weighs about 3 grams per teaspoon, so the per gallon dose is 1.17 teaspoons.
Check my math and let me know if that looks okay.

Staying high and dry?Hey all
In that case go with the best size rooster. Legbars aren't that much heavier than leghorns are they? A leghorn cockerel should go 5 or 6 lbs.I do want size especially over the tiny leghorns. Rory has meat on his bones at least.
I only see 2 Mediterranean breeds on your list.![]()
Lets see... I'll get
Serama

Polish
Welsh Harlequin

So they are safe out there?Hi yall this is the second night that my chickens are in their coop
Really cool here too - considering it is August. 72 this morning but 95% humidity.Hi, yes I ran off to ride my horse. It was the first time in the eighties in forever. Then I gave shots to my quarantined goats, did chores, and now I am milking. While it is humid it is a beautiful 75.
That's a lot of blood but unless it continues I wouldn't be concerned. Probably a split right inside the cloaca.
How about a Welsh pony.If my marriage were intact, I would have a horse for Duckling. A pony is a waste of time. She would outgrow it too soon.
Good point. Like selling adult parrots.I just think that a horse should not be traded from person-to-person. They deserve to have one owner to love them and to love in return.![]()
Haven't had the pleasure. How about an elephant.Did you tried to ride a camel? I can assure you that it is one if the funniest ride you will have!
How old is your wafer? Is it a homemade incubator?Speakin of bators, I've been having a funny problem w/ mine...... I just plain can't get the temp above 98.![]()
I turned it nearly a whole turn up (slowly, over a few days) but notta, still at 98.... Turned it down in case I was being stoopid..... The temp went down. This is on all three thermometers.
Might the wafer disk be not working?
I have measurement level set a bit high, so I think the eggs are okay, (they feel like they have a 99.5 internal temp) but I like to run higher as last time I had late hatches.
IMHO, if not selecting for egg color, they're not worth having.not the darkest of eggs, but quality looks
pinI didn't know they made pens that big.
That was interesting. Never heard of it before. This clip is for all the hunters out there
Thanks Mike. There's certainly room for improvement. Maybe I can practice on some fall crops now that I have more time.

Quote: Super long. It's right around 250 days, according to the almanac. If I'm remembering that correctly. Somewhere between 245 and 280.![]()
That would be nice.
What is its due date?Good morning all!! No change this morning in my little egg...just the little pipp hole. But, I'm excited!!!
