I cut that vetwrap in three's. And thank you...I love the Golden R. Missy is my third..and probably my last. Last of any big dog. :/

Oh, ok. I should try that with mine; vetwrap cut in half is just a little thick. Golden Retrievers are great dogs. I hope she lives a good, long life!

Why would you want to ground a non-electric wire?

i think it is to link to the ground rod for extra grounding, but i have no idea, i only have 2 hot wires around my pasture
that is the gist of what i read when researching the 'proper' way of wiring an electric fence
