My Jaerhons were crowing at 5 weeks. They are very early maturing.

My mystery chick from mcmurray hatchery crowed for the 1st time today at 3weeks and 5 days old. It was the cutest darn thing. He just jumped up on the side of the brooder and crowed!

Speaking of storms, the rain last week put about a foot of water in a bucket. Unfortunately, the chick that I couldn't find yesterday was in there. At least I found it. Bad way to die though. I feel bad drowning a bug.
