Well, today was good. I painted a coop, installed two automatic coop doors and openers ( which closed at dark like clock work with everyone inside ) Now only the grow out coop is hand operated, and I got my goat plaything half built. Everything but the screws is scrounged materials I need to go back to work to rest

@MotorcycleChick So what was so bad about the camping trip (aside from going on a weekend that is wall to wall people)?

Umm. It was boring and I was there to babysit apparently. Since the kids were on their iPads, and demanding junk from the store, it was just boring and stressful.
The highlight was not sleeping alone.

There were three left but they had so much egg on them I took them. Broodies have quit for now. Except there is one Altsterier that are not supposed to go broody still on the nest in a completely different pen tonight. She's been there all afternoon doesn't usually take this long for her to lay.
