Yes. The chicken is not a plant! She is not an Aoutotroff critter!Sally you are asking me something?
yes, please read the bottom question
Benny, WILL Zinc Chelate, other certain vitamins and fatty acid concentrations fed in diet to the hen, change yolk eggshell composition and/or leach into the eggs for consumption?
what did I ever do to you?chaos
Yes. The chicken is not a plant! She is not an Aoutotroff critter!
All the ingredient that compose the egg can be from 2 kinds:
1. Ingredient that that hen gets from her food and metabolize and process with her sets of enzymes, for instant proteins, she gets protein from an insect that she eat, brake it to amino acids, and rebuilt from it, by the information in her DNA a chicken protein.
2.the second group are ingredient, that she gets from her food( or from symbiotic bacteria) and goes as is directly to the egg, in this group are the vitamins, the minerals, and some fatty acids.
About the color of the egg shel the protoporphyrin the brown pigment is derived directly from Hemoglobin. And the oocyanin the blue pigment is derived from bile which derived from Bilirubin which derived from Hemoglobin in the liver. so I really don't think that there is any external color that influence the egg shel color. The age, the number of eggs that the hen lade, the season are some of the factor that influence the depet of the egg color.
Its ok, I will let you go this time.... I promise I wont feed my chickens any nasty thingssh... It is hard to write so much in english!
