I feed mine good laying feed (min. 90% of diet), and whatever scraps (mainly greens) we have leftover. I think one of my pullets decided to start laying today.

Mine get all the leftovers + all the eggshells, in addition to free-choice layer crumbles.

Got the incubator almost done, The Boss lady(life pardener) ask me to wait till after the 1st of the year to finish it, not sure which temp controller I want electronic or wafer thermostat, yeah I'm working on pictures when I figure out the camera more,

may even try and talk her into expanding the coop to hummmmm

I don't recycle my egg shells. I feed Layena pellets with "oyster strong", as well as free-choice oyster shell. I don't want them to figure out they can get egg shell any time they lay an egg. Just my thoughts...
