@BantyChooks I am hatching also, I have 4 eggs in the incubator (EE's and chocolate orp mixes), 5 eggs with broodies (also EE's and chocolate orp mixes). They are due to hatch on Monday.

I slept on the porch (okay, in the sun room) last night. I can't say I slept great, but it was better than the previous two nights. Maybe I should have put the screen down in the window. The bugs stayed out though ... I think.

Morning, I have an update on her stepdad. He didn't make it. Poor thing, I know she's going to blame herself forever.

You take the 2 wires conect them to the wire in the 12V transformator AKA power supplier then stoke it to the 2 little holes in the wall, if it doesn't work change the wiring THAT'S ALL,

I live on a dead end Lane. Someone came looking or saw it going to the one house past mine. They cut the chain loaded it and left and so far no one noticed. With half of the lane night shift you have to wonder how it was missed. They do not appear to have taken anything else. Good new John Deere. Only started it one time last spring to learn how.

When my compressor was stolen there were lots of tools laying there where I was working.
I was hoping the culprits would be back to steal something else so I laid in wait for them a long time but to no avail.

Maybe I should start chaining things up. My generator is sitting at the back of the driveway.
The only thing I can figure is someone drove into the driveway to turn around. That happens a lot.
I want to build some plywood boxes to put the generator and garden tractor in - mostly to keep the mice out of them.

He'd have been cold forever if I'd walked up & caught him; room temperature, anyway. The State Trooper told me "If the b*****d comes back, shoot him"

That's pretty bold going into the house.
I rarely lock anything up, except coop doors.
The compressor event was almost 10 years ago.
There's not a lot of crime right around me but I think this place is just a bit too creepy for any nefarious characters to want to brave coming up here for fear of what they may find.

Dryer sheets keep mice (mostly) away and smell much better than moth balls
