I have some huge, very oblong Wyandotte eggs pip'ing a day or two early currently, had to move one this morning from the incubator to the hatcher because today is its actual lock down day, tonite technically, so it wasn't moved yet to the higher humidity with the Araucanas (one pip'd when I left for work in the AM)... I dropped my last viable Gold CampineFelt horrible about that, it was a cute chick and died in my hand...(egg shattered)... I know, it happens

I'll be putting those Sussex eggs and Dark, Red Laced, and Blue Laced (project) Cornish in tonite when I get home... Have Light Brahma in that incubator already, on day 7 I believe, I will likely do candling since I'll have it open already. I'm hoping to be sharing pics of healthy baby Araucana, maybe a Wyandotte or two(though I really hope they just stay at their breath hole lol), or even Sweedish Flower... Have a polish, @PeasPoultry Whiting True Blue (6/10 made it to lock down!), 2 Cream Crested Legbars... I think that's all that's trying to hatch for me over the next 24-48hrs... Boy have I been busy...all because I want 1 or 2 of just about everything lol
@BantyChooksAre any of you into photography enough to tell me what I will need to get a good photo of the total solar eclypse that will happen when we are planning to be in the Tetons next August?

Quote: Yep, that stuff. It's not always as pretty in real life. I picked up a piece of dr pepper bottle on my last trip, I'll take a pic later.
I AM NOT A BUILDER OF ANY SORT but I toyed with the idea of making a big rock tumbler out of a washing machine drum or something similar, and trying to make my own sea glass.
I know nothing of sea glass other than what Liz just told me, but I doubt it could be done in several eons, let alone a single lifetime
