I don't get new obsessions very often. I've had the same 2 games I've played (once, since 1999) and the other since 2004.

I dabble in other games once in a blue moon, but I always go back to my 2 favorite games.

Being autistic, I have a pretty limited scope of interests (all of my interests are actually listed in my diagnoses, because I have so few.)

So, getting a new one like the chickens, my husband encouraged because it encourages me to be social, leave the house, and do other things, like participate in 4h with my daughter for her chickens. LOL

I actually talk to grown ups about something besides kids now.

The few games I do are Sudoku, Tetris and sometimes trivia.

...

yes but she is fairly new to incubating, I was concerned she didnt know that she could see better from the top with a flashlight.

All our situations are different. I can barely see in eggs. If I can't see in one end, I'll look in the other end.

you.

I don't know what to tell you, Seth. My oldest pullets were born this past May; that would put them 2 months behind your youngest ones, and I got the 1st egg from one of them this morning, small as it was. All they get is an all flock pelleted feed, free choice crushed oyster shell, and whatever kitchen scraps we toss over the fence...nothing special. Perhaps someone else can give you more insight, but with the numbers you're feeding, you should certainly be getting more than 1-2 eggs a day, unless 95% of them are molting or broody.

My oldest pullets hatched April 22 and haven't laid yet. The next 2 hatched May 30. I don't expect many eggs for another month or two since we're in declining day lengths.

Only a couple? :lau

I watched Comedy Central for The Daily Show, The Colbert Report and stand-up.

Is a field point the same as a target point?  Or same type (narrow)?
I'm about to start shopping.
p.s. 22 rifle might be too loud, I think!

I'm mistaken. Field point may penetrate more easily. Target point is one dimension. Field point is 2 dimensions (smaller In front).

You like the show called "Cash Cab"?

Why is that ?

Chickens are so not spooky.. unless you turn them into a ghost.

Not only is it from my favorite game, but it's a chicken... as a ghost. ;o
she was talking about the people getting freaked out at being talked to about chickens LOL
but thats funny

I'm quoting myself here, but I wonder if my chicken obsession actually started in my game. I used to go around and obsessively make all the chickens follow me on the maps that had the chickens. :p

I came very close to blowing Tucker away; even had him in the crosshairs. Glad now I didn't. Haven't had a problem wih him in a long time, but I still keep a close eye on his whereabouts. The hens are friendly enough, but the juvies follow me around like an extra shadow.
They are usually given a second chance or in rare cases a third. But after that if we still have a problem it's dinner time. I have small children and can't afford to have an aggressive bird around.

that's how I feel. Especially since it's important to my children to be able to hug them. LOL

And, I KNEW you weren't under 18. But you confused me earlier. I'm so gullible.

They can hug them if they can catch them but I don't want a bunch of pet chickens. What can't I be under 18 and have small children?

I had my first at 18, but most 18 year olds can't afford to have a bunch of chickens, kids, their own home, etc.
