1 am--candle, 2 am- candle, 3 am- candle. all the way to 12 M. When you run out of numbers, repeat from the top. Don't bother with the temp or RH. If anything hatches, the chicks will at least be tough

A bit chilly this morning. How about you? Is it raining where you are?Quote:How are things on the left coast?
I fear that he will candle too much unless someone gives him a schedule.
Quote: saw it in the quote though still looks like a bear
Remove as much water as possible with paper towel or something and start from what sally says to do in this post. You want probably 30% - 35% humidity.
o it was like 36% before I added water.i thought its suppost to be like 40-50% from research.but I want to do my best to batch these six.i can't remove water without taking everything our so I will just let it evaporate and at day seven fill two troughs and start at that
Why not listen to what Sally and other here have told you many times? @chicken hawk 33

I'm doing the upgrades cause there's never a better time than now. Also I might go insane if I don't do something with the bator.![]()

Nobody??
Most of my friends are chicken addicts, lol
The only game I really like is Mario Kart. Peachy's got it!!
Super excited!!! Puff my broody serama was awfully quiet today. I dont candle the eggs under her-just leave that to mother nature. 2 tiny babies under her with 2 more possibly to go!!!! And the best part is at least one of those is from Stan-my tri-colored that died. So Stan lives on!!!!!![]()
ROFL!!!My guess is waiting to play games for eggs?????? or playing pool, darts, or bar hoppingor bowling?![]()
Bubba is so cute, but i love this look the cat is giving Jasper
lolThe cat finally caught that lizard he was stalking the other day. Ate half of it. We put him outside in preparation for the puke, and he killed a tiny snake. The dogs just dragged in a bone they dug up from the yard. It's been a gross day.![]()
you do know that chickens eat ticks right? That's great to know because I have 30 acres of them!!! My house sits on about 4 including the front yard, back yard, pond and surrounding woods and all the rest are woods. I just worry about bugs and stuff (like ticks) and going out to gather them. Maybe I will go garbage picking in the suburbs one day and pick up all those big orange pumpkin bags they fill leaves with!!! Less for me to rake up and way lighter than sand and pea gravel!!!![]()
Congrats!ZOMG! I'm dying! First Araucana is out and is screaming (for me I'm assuming)... It had a pip when I got home, and I was talking/encouraging the first Wyandotte who pip'd and keeps banging its nostrils against the shell, and it went nuts n zipped out fast (20min, the Araucana) and is trying to climb the wall to get to me... I'm tearing up, it's killing me to say "no, you're wet"
...oh is my will being tested...
very cute!
mind if I ask but where did u get that feeder the yellow one
got the same one on ebay (but green), it said discontinued by manufacturer but it was only like $3Not at all. It came with my incubator. And a little waterer as well. I wish I could find another one.
Alright! So I'm at 3 Araucana right now, 1 Wyandotte I'm not sure is gonna make it (lookin like wry neck straight out of egg, I'll let the breeder know), and 1 Whiting True Blue(still in incubator). 1 Wyandotte passed after pip'ing![]()
First two out and dry. The black one I posted earlier about demanding out. The white was no different...
Chick pile of cuteness!
They were trying to eat shavings. I put the bowl in and showed the black one, it was eating mouthfuls, then the two white came over...one proceeded to get in eat n sleep lol

temps sound fine to mei turned the eggs in my new incubator this morning. it was running a little low, so I upped the temp. I'm going to have the hardest time keeping the temp stable in there, it seems so much more sensitive then my little one
I may add an additional bottle of water that's heated up, to see if that helps. I got the rocks in there, the humidity's good, (between 30-40%) and i'm keeping a close eye on it. But I worry what happens if it runs at 99.0 instead of 100... anything? or will it be okay if it's 99 at night and 100.5 during the daytime?
Okay. I'll be keeping a close eye on it then.
My turkey's are here, post office just called. On my way to go get them!!! be back in like 30 minutes... I have to wake up the baby. LOL
LOL!!!!That's correct. Wife is enjoying our cooler temps.
Funny conversation from last night
Wife: I'm tired from cooking and think I'm going to sit for a bit.
Me: Confused look.
Wife: What, you need me to do something?
Me: No your fine, go ahead and relax...still confused look.
Wife: Why are you looking like that?
Me: We had leftovers, all you did was heat the food I cooked last night in the microwave.
Wife: Yeah but it was very tiring.
Love her to death. This pregnancy has been a lot harder on her than our previous two but she's been a trooper.
Good morning!

go on zenniotical.com super cheap*** childproof my butt.
I paid 128 dollars for kid-safe glasses and my toddler made them last 10 minutes before tkaing them apart.
love this post lolWe candled our eggs every night before bed on the non-shipped eggs we tried to hatch. My daughter wanted to watch the day to day development.
The shipped eggs, I've only touched every few days, too worried about them dying on me if I jiggle them. My daughter understood, she'd rather have live chicks.
But she's 5. I think 5 year old girls have more common sense then teenage boys....![]()
