you cant fence the yard and just let them free range?

I already have an acre fenced for the dogs....

They have the whole outskirts around the coop, yard and pond to stroll and plenty of grassy area. I'm just such a protective mama..

These turkey's are goof balls. They sit in there and chirp and chirp and chirp, and when I go in to check on them, they get really silent, and then fall asleep when I'm holding them.


They appear to like to be held. They however, fall all over themselves. They are some of the clumsiest babies I've ever seen.

All my hens LOVE me very much! Every time I enter their run they all squat!

as far as the chalaza, they never bothered me. it just annoys me if I make eggs the kids are now grossing out because of his reactions to them. I dont know anyone who removes it besides. oh well, now I know!
